Pepperoni Pizza Hot Dogs 
Why choose between a pizza and a hot dog when you can have both? This Pepperoni Pizza Hot Dog combines all the savory, cheesy goodness of pizza with the classic comfort of a hot dog!

 Ingredients
For 4 Hot Dogs:
4 hot dog buns (soft and sturdy)
4 beef or chicken hot dogs
1 cup pizza sauce (store-bought or homemade)
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
20-24 pepperoni slices
1 tablespoon butter (melted, for brushing the buns)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried parsley (or fresh, chopped for garnish)
 Instructions
1. Prepare the Hot Dogs
Cook the hot dogs using your preferred method:
Grill for 5-7 minutes.
Pan-sear over medium heat for 6-8 minutes.
Boil for 5 minutes until heated through.
Set aside and keep warm.
2. Toast the Buns
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Brush the insides of the hot dog buns with melted butter and a light sprinkle of garlic powder.
Place the buns on a baking tray and toast for 3-4 minutes until slightly crispy.
3. Assemble the Pizza Hot Dogs
Place a hot dog in each toasted bun.
Spread a layer of pizza sauce over the hot dogs.
Generously top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
Arrange 5-6 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
4. Bake
Place the assembled hot dogs on a baking tray.
Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Garnish and Serve
Remove from the oven and sprinkle with dried or fresh parsley for a pop of color.
Serve hot and enjoy immediately!

For extra flavor, add chopped jalapeños, black olives, or a sprinkle of parmesan cheese.
Swap out pepperoni for mini salami slices or turkey pepperoni if desired.
