Crispy Cheese and Bacon Rolls

Ingredients:
1 sheet puff pastry
100g cheddar cheese, grated
100g mozzarella cheese, grated
100g cooked bacon lardons
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over the pastry sheet.
Evenly sprinkle the grated cheddar and mozzarella cheese over the pastry. Top with the cooked bacon lardons.
Roll the pastry tightly into a log, ensuring the filling stays in place.
Slice the rolled pastry into 1-inch thick pieces and arrange them on the prepared baking tray.
Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
